Not only in international cricket, but Raza has also made significant contributions in domestic leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In terms of his personal background, the 38-year-old all-rounder originally hails from Sialkot, Pakistan. Recently, on social media, a fan inquired about Raza’s thoughts on playing for Pakistan, his country of birth.

On the platform X (formerly Twitter), the fan asked Raza, “Have you ever considered playing for Pakistan? You could help solve the middle-order batting woes.”

In response, Raza reiterated his loyalty to Zimbabwe Cricket and expressed his commitment to “repay the faith” that the board had shown in him. He stated, “I will only and ever represent Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe spent money and time on me, and I am only trying to repay their faith. Whatever I achieve will never come close to repaying it. Zim is mine, and I am fully theirs,” emphasized Raza.

In another post, a fan asked Raza to name his favorite bowler and batter. Surprisingly, Raza mentioned several players, including Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Pakistani star Shaheen Afridi, and former West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine.
