KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli team up for a new charitable initiative. Discover how they’re making a difference today!
Together with some of the biggest names in cricket, Athiya Shetty and her husband, cricketer KL Rahul, have partnered to collect money for the special needs school in BKC, Mumbai, of the Vipla Foundation, formerly known as Save The Children India.
For this cause, the couple has gathered international players Jos Buttler, Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, and Yuzvendra Chahal in addition to Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni
, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Ravindra Jadeja, and Lucknow Super Giants.In order to raise money for the charity, Rahul and Athiya have organized a special cricket auction in which these two game legends will donate something extremely personal to the foundation.
Athiya stated, “The Vipla Foundation has played a significant role in my childhood,” when discussing the effort. I’ve spent many days instructing and spending time with the kids after school.
I want to carry on my Nani’s legacy by holding this auction. Nani founded the Vipla Foundation with the goal of meeting the needs of kids who have intellectual and hearing impairments.
KL Rahul continued, “The kids motivated me to lend my support in any way I could to this fantastic initiative that Athiya’s family has been a part of.

My first visit to the school was very emotional.” Our method of giving back to the Vipla Foundation for all of its amazing efforts in giving kids a wonderful learning environment is through the auction.
Upon contacting the cricket community, they were equally generous in contributing their priceless cricket memorabilia to this worthy initiative.
Each bidder is helping us to improve the lives of these incredibly exceptional kids by taking part in the auction and placing a bid on the memorabilia.

On January 23, 2023, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot.
Athiya Shetty’s most recent appearance in a film was in the 2019 release “Motichoor Chaknachoor.” In the movie, she costarred alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
‘Hero’ (2015), starring Sooraj Pancholi, marked the actor’s Bollywood debut. Athiya also appeared in Arjun Kapoor’s film “Mubarakan.”
